Fresh Villa transfer twist as Trezeguet agent speaks out

There has been a fresh twist surrounding the future of Aston Villa winger Trezeguet.

The Egyptian spent the second half of this season on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir, where he scored six and provided four assists in 13 league games. He joined the club shortly after returning to fitness, following an ACL injury that had ruled him out for almost nine months.

Trezeguet looked to have reached an ‘agreement’ over a €3.5million move to Trabzonspor on Monday, according to reports in Turkey. However, the player’s agent Christian Emile has denied that it is the case and has spoken about the options available to the 27-year-old this summer.
